The role of the embedded team is to design the electrical backbone of the rover. This includes tasks such as powering all hardware, communicating with the base station, and implementing low-level algorithms to carry out the desired tasks using the hardware.
Powers subdivision is responsible for providing sufficient and stable to all the electrical components onboard. The battery pack stores the electrical energy Power distribution board will consist of DC-DC converters for having voltage regulated rails. Wiring architecture with colour-coding will be used for connections.
The comms team is tasked with designing and implementing a full-fledged communication system architecture to ensure a viable and sustainable communication link between the base station and the rover. It also encompasses the work of intra-rover communication, setting up the base station, and designing the UI for command and control.
